WEMEAS, the County Commissioners of gitsap County propose to
improve Callow Avenue from Ninth Street to Fifteenth Street, by
surfacing, grading, graveling, and oiling, and
WHEREAS, the City Limits of the City of Bremerton are on the
center line of said Avenue, therefore, the City Commission of the
City of Bremerton wishes to improve said Avenue in conjunction with
the improvement contemplated by the County Commissioners,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Commission of the City of Bremerton
hereby makes application requesting the State Highway Department
for funds in the amount of Seven Hundred and Ninety—five Dollars,
($795.00) to be granted from the State Gas Tax Funds allocated to the
City of Bremerton for construction purposes, to be used on the above
named improvement as herein set out.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by
the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage this day of , 1939, A.D.
