(CCR), 20.80, Public Sector Redevelopment Sites (PSRS)„ 20.82, Neighborhood Business
Zone (NB), 20.84, Limited Commercial Zone (LC), 20.86, Freeway Corridor Zane (FC),
and 20.88, blarine Industrial (P1I), as well as the definitions. Matthew and Geoffrey
reviewed each section and explained the consistency of formatting and how all of the
zoning chapters are laid out identically. Commissioner Hoell asked to have the acronym
`BMC' written out fully the first time the term is used in each chapter.
VI. Business Meeting
A. Chairman's Refit: None.
B. _Director's Report: Chris Hugo reported that he and Daren Nygren, City Council
President, met with the Central East Bremerton/Silverdale Community Council to present
Bremerton's Future Growth boundaries. The presentation was well received and the
council thanked Chris and Daren for attending. Bremerton's proposed UGA boundaries
would extend up to Barker Creek; it is anticipated that the review board overseeing the
Silverdale incorporation would oppose this northern boundary of the Bremerton UGA. A
map published in the newspapers showed Silverdale's proposed boundary as far south as
Erlands Point. This is a concern to Chris because of the possibility of no break between
the two jurisdictions as well as Silverdale expanding beyond their UGA boundaries.
On June 30, 2005, the Bremerton City Council and the Port Orchard City Council will
meet jointly at an open public meeting to discuss the Urban Growth Areas in the south
Kitsap region.
C. Old Business: None.
D. New Business: None.
VII. Adjournment
