SUMMARY: With the Manette Bridge replacement, the City of Bremerton requested several design
changes to the original set of plans One of which was the incorporation of a roundabout at the east
end of the bridge The roundabout design required the closure of Lower Wheaton Way between
Harkins Street and East 11 Street This closure resulted in the loss of existing angled parking stalls
on the east side of the one -way roadway In order to restore some of the stalls, the Washington
State Department of Transportation ( WSDOT) resigned and striped East 11 Street west of Pitt
Avenue to Shore Drive to a one -way street with angle parking on the south side

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) Completion of changes is incorporated with the
Manette Bridge Replacement project with all costs paid by WSDOT

Move to pass Resolution No 316 to approve the substitution of angle parking and one -way street

and Shore Drive
