SUMMARY: As part of the 2012 budget, it is proposed to raise the parking tax rate from 10% to
15% This increase would be a direct revenue stream to the street fund and could potentially realize
an increase of $150,000 overall
This proposed ordinance was first presented as part of the budget public hearing on November 16,
2011 There were no comments received regarding this specific item
ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance No of the City Council of the City of Bremerton, Washington,
amending Section 3 82 020 of the Bremerton Municipal Code relating to commercial parking tax
