SUMMARY: As part of the 2012 budget, it is proposed to raise the parking tax rate from 10% to
15% This increase would be a direct revenue stream to the street fund and could potentially realize
an increase of $150,000 overall
Staff is presenting this ordinance to you tonight for informational purposes only and for consideration
as part of the budget public hearing this evening There is no action required on this ordinance until
adoption of the 2012 budget ordinance, scheduled for December 7, 2011
ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance No of the City Council of the City of Bremerton, Washington,
amending Section 3 82 020 of the Bremerton Municipal Code relating to commercial parking tax
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) If approved, the increase to the parking tax revenue
