RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton, Washington, has
issued and there are now outstanding warrants drawn against
its Fire Station Construction Fund in an amount, together
with interest thereon to December 1, 1939, of $23,600; and
WHEREAS, the said city is contemplating the funding
of said warrant indebtedness by the issuance of its general
obligation bonds; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the interest of the said
city to employ Preston, Thorgrimson & Turner, Attorneys at
Law, of Seattle, Washington, to prepare the resolutions, ordi-
nances and notices necessary for the purpose of authorizing
the issuance of said bonds;
Now, Therefore, BE IT RESOIV ED by the City Commission
of the City of Bremerton, as follows:
1. Preston, Thorgrimson & Turner, Attorneys at Lava, of
Seattle, Washington, are hereby employed by the City of Bremerton
to perform the services set forth in the preamble of this
resolution.
2. Said City hereby agrees to pay the said Preston,
Thorgrimson & Turner for the said services the sum of one
hundred twenty -five dollars ($125) and further agrees to pay
said Preston, Thorgrimson & Turner any necessary expenses
which the latter may incur.
PASSED and approved by the City Commission of the City
of Bremerton at a,regular meeting thereof held this 20 day
of September, 1939.
