RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Assessment Roll for Local Improvement District
No. 194, providing for the assessments to pay for the improvement
of margeurite Avenue from a point 300 feet North of the North
margin of Eleventh Street to a point 302 feet North of Thirteenth
Street; and Thirteenth Street from a point 234.47 feet west of
the west margin of Marguerite Avenue to High Avenue, by clearing,
grubbing, grading, graveling, the construction of concrete
sidewalks with curbs and gutters providing for the draining
thereof, has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Bremerton,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That Saturday, the
day of 19 at 10 o'clock A.M., of said day,
at the Commission Chambers at the City Hall of the City of
Bremerton, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and
place for the hearing upon said assessment roll.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to give notice of the
time and place of said hearing to all persons who may desire
to object to such assessment roll, to make such objections in
writing, and file the same with the City Clerk at or prior to
t ,he date fixed for such hearing, by written notice to the owner ,
or reputed owner of the different properties, whose names appear
upon said assessment roll, by mailing a notice thereof at least
fifteen days before the date herein set for such hearing, to such
owner or reputed owner, at the address of such ovm.er as shown on
the tax rolls of the County Treasurer, for the property described
on said list; and shall given further notice of such hearing by
publishing such notice at least five times in the official
newspaper, the last publication of which shall be at least fif-
teen days prior to the date herein fixed for said hearing. The
dip
above mentioned improvements include clearing, grubbing,
grading, graveling, the construction of concrete sidewalks
with curbs and gutters providing for the draining thereof,
together with the doing of any and all other work in connection
therewith as may be necessary to make such improvement a
complete job.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor
and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage, this day of Decembe r,1939 .
