RESOLUTION.
BE IT RESOLVE BY THE CITY COiQdIJJaO V OF THE CITY OF BR11IMT014
IN REGULAR O]RGANIZaTION 3E.13I014 A333ME , as foll(Ws:
Section 1. That the duties and responsibilities of the different
departments,of the city government of the City of Bremerton shall be
distributed among the Mayor and Commissioners as hereinafter set forth,
and the Mayor and each of the said Commissioners shall be responsible
for each of said departments so designated, as follows:
The Mayor shall have charge and supervisory control over the Police,
Department, the Fire Department, the Health and Sanitation Department,
all Parks and P1ayfields, The Building Inspection Department the Public
Library and,the Cemeteries# and shall makes all appointments of employees
in each of said departments, subject to tho confirmation of a majority
of the dormiss as a ftol ®,
That Mr H. A. Bruenn skull be designated as Commissioner of Finance-b-_-
and'Asoountin and ash such shall have charge of and supervisory control
of the City Clerk endx °,al1 accounting the City Treasurer and the Treasurer's
office, also the Municipal Wharf Department and the City Hall, he shall
make all appointments of employees in each of said departments, subject
to confirmation of a majority of the commission as a whole.
That :fir. C. C Casad shall be des6gnat'ed as Commissioner of Streets
and Public Improvements and as such shall have oharge of all streets and
alloys and Improvements of the same, the office of the City Engineer, the
Water Department,outside of the accounting office and he shall make all
appointments of employees in each of said departments subject to the Con-
firmation of di majority of the Commission as a whole,
PROVIDED, that any change of policy or any new or different method
of i-Lprovaments in any of said departments shall not be made until the
same is confirmed by a majority of the Commission as a whole.
PASS AND ADOPTED by the City Cowission of the City of Bremerton
in regular session assembled this 18th day of December 1939 signed by
the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage,
