Whereas, the assessment roll for Local Improvement
District No. 169, providing for the assessment to pay
the improvement of Bertha Avenue from the North margin
of Sixth Street North to the South margin of Highway
#21, has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Bremerton.
Now, therefor, be it resolved that Saturday the
12th day of March, 1938, at 10 o'clock A.M. of said
day at the Commission Chambers at the City Hall of the
City of Bremerton be and the same is hereby fixed as
the time and place for the hearing upon said assess-
ment roll; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to give hotice of
the time and place of said hearing to all persons who
may desire to object to such assessment roll to make
such objections in writing and file the same with the
City Clerk at or prior to the date fixed for such hear-
ing, by written notice to the owner or the reputed
owner of the different properties whose name appears
upon said assessment roll, by mailing a notice thereof
at least fifteen (15) days before the date herein set
for such hearing to such owner orreputed owner at the
address of such owner as shown on the tax rolls of the
County Treasurer for the property described on said list
and shall further give notice of such hearing by publish-
ing such notice at least five (5) times in the official
daily newspaper, the last publication of which shall be
at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date herein
fixed for said hearing. The above mentioned improvements
include clearing, grubbing, grading and providing for the
drainage thereof, together with the doing of any and all
other work in connection therewith.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor
and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage this 29th day of January, 1938.
