WEMREAS, The improvement of Fourth Street, from Perk Avenue to Washington
Avenue, in the City of Bremerton, under Local Improvement District No. 172;
by widening of the existing pavement 2«-12 feet on each side with b inch,
one course concrete pavement, adjustment of present sidewalks, construction
of new curbs and approaches, and any and all'other work necessary to make
this improvement a complete job; is a necessary improvement to reduce
traffic hazzarde
THAT, It will be necessary to receive assistance from some other source
than the property owners adjacent to the Skeet, in order to sell the bonds
to make said improvement,
NOW, THEE 08B, The City Commission of the Cit* of Bremerton, hereby makes
application requesting the Statf Highway Department for funds to the amount
of One Thousand Dollars, ($1,000.00), to be granted from the State Gas Tax
funds allocated to the City of Bremerton for construction purposes, to be
used on the construction of the above named Street, as herein set out.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
Mayor and attested by the City Cle$k in authentication of such passage
this 29th., day of Jauuary, 1938, A. D.
