A Resolution of the City Commission authorizing the Mayor
to sign an option, same to be duly attested by the City Clerk
for the purchase of certain land from the Chas. R. McCormick
Lumber Co., which option also to be given by the,mortgage
holders of the mortgage on said land.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BREMERTON.
That the Chas R. McCormick Lumber Co., has certain lands
on the water shed of the drainage of the City Water supply and
are desirous of selling same to the City of Bremerton;
And, Whereas, the
hold a mortgage on said land and are foreclosing the same, are
to join in said option, AND,
Whereas, the City of Bremerton is to pay the-sum or $500.00
down on said option and to p ay,a balance of $14,500.00 within
the time specified in said option;
It is considered for the best interest of the City of Bremerton,
for the protection of its water shed to purchase same at the
price and terms mentioned in said option;
THEREFORE, the City Commission of the City of Bremerton
hereby authorize the Mayor to sign said option and the City
Clerk to attest same as the action of the said City Commission.
Passed by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk this 30th day of April, 1938
