WHEREAS, the improvement of Winfield Avenue, from the East end of the
Washington State Toll Bridge to E. 13th Street, Marlowe Cut -off from E
13th.,Street to its intersection with Marlowe Avenue; and Marlowe Avenue
to E. 16th. Street, to its conjunction with Lateral Highway No. 2; by
oiling, is a necessary improvement to State Secondary Highway No. 21-B,
THAT, it will be necessary to receive assistance from some other source
than the property owners adjacent to the Street; or the regular yearly
appropriation of State Gas Tax funds allocated for the maintenance of said
State Secondary Highway No. 21 -B,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, hereby makes
application requesting the State Auditor to transfer funds to the amount
of Five Hundred Dollars, ($500.00) from the State Gas Tax funds allocated
to the City of Bremerton for construction purposes, to be used on the
oiling of the above named streets as herein set out.
PASSED by the City Commission of ti .e City of Bremerton, signed by the
Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage
this 4th. day of June, 1939 A.D.
