RESOLUTION
1HEREAS, the assessment roll far Local Improvement District
No. 178, providing for the assessment to pay the improvement of
Tenth Street from Naval Avenue to Olympic Avenue and Olympic Ave-
nue from midway between Eighth Street and Ninth Street to the
South margin of Eleventh Street, in accordance with maps, and
plans on file in the City Clerk's office, has been filed with
the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that Saturday the /s` day of
6exd -&-eh� 1938, at 10 o'clock A.M. of said day at the Commiss-
ion Chambers at the City Hall of the City of Bremerton be and the
same is hereby fixed as the time and place for the hearing upon
said assessment roll; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVER that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to give notice of the time and
place of said hearing to all persons who may desire to object to
such assessment roll to make such objections in writing and file
the same with the City Clerk at or prior to the date fixed for
duck hearing, by written notice to the owner or the reputed owner
of the different properties whose name appears upon said assess-
ment roll, by mailing a notice thereof at least fifteen (15) days
before the date herein set for such hearing to such owner or
reputed owner at the address of such owner as shown on the tax
rolls of the County Treasurer for the property described on said
list and shall further give notice of such hearing by publishing
such notice at least five (5) times in the official daily news -
paper, the last publication of which shall be at least fifteen
(151 days prior to the date herein fixed for said hearing. The
above mentioned improvements include clearing, grubbing, grading,
the construction of sidewalks five (5) feet wide, and paving with
one course concrete pavement twenty -six feet wide on Tenth Street;
clearing, grubbing, grading, surfacing and the construction of
sidewalks five (5) feet wide on the East side of Olympic Avenue,
together with the doing of any and all other work in connection
therewith.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor and
attest pd by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this
day of X1938.
