WHEREAS, the assessment roll for Local Improvement
District No. 180, providing for the assessment to pay the imp-
rovement of Lafayette Avenue from the North margiA of
Farragut Street North to approximately 200 feet North of Coontz
Street, has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Bremerton.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that Saturday, the Z Z day
of aj iC 1938, at 10 o clock A . M. of .said day at the
Commission Chambers at the City Hall of the City of Bremerton
be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for thO
hearing upon said assessment roll; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to give notice of the time and
place of said hearing to all persons who may desire to object
to such assessment roll to make such objections in writing and
file the same with the City Clerk at or prior to the date fixed
for such hearing, by written notice to the owner or the reputed
owner of the different properties whose na$e appears upon said
assessment roll, by mailing a notice thereof at least fifteen
(15) days before the date herein set for such hearing to such
owner or reputed owner at the address of such owner as shown on
the tax rolls of the County Treasurer for the property described
on said list and shall further give notice of such hearing by
publishing such notice at least five (5) times in the official
newspaper, the last publication of which shall be at least
fifteen (15) days prior to the date herein fixed for said hear-
ing. The above mentioned improvements include clearing, grubb-
ing, grading and paving with a one course concrete pavement
six (6) inches thick and twenty -six (26) feet wide and the
construction of concrete sidewalks four (4) inches thick and
four (4) feet wide on the East side of Lafayette Avenue, pro-
viding for the drainage thereof, together with the doing of
any and all other work in connection therewith.
Passed by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor and
attested y the Cit Clerk in authentication of such passage
