R E R O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City
of Bremerton, that the Mayor be and he is hereby empowered,
to appoint a checker for the Park -O- Meters, and the salary

is to be the sum of /oo.o o per M&Aj.#, to be paid out of
the funds known as the Traffic Control Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall appoint
said officer, and'that he shall be under the jurisdiction of
the Traffic Department and shall have power and authority to
check traffic, give tags to cars„ and do anything in the line
of work in connection with the park -o- meters which he may be
directed to do by the Mayor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said employee shall
be a plain clothes man as any other employee and not a member
of the Police Department., but clothed only math the special
police powers above indicated, and the said employee shall be
subject to dismissal at any time with or without cause.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, SIGNED BY THE MAYOR,
AND ATTESTED BY THE CITY CLERK THIS 1" d - 2 ' DAY OF OCTOBER, 1938.
