RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the amended assessment roll for Local Improvement
District No. 170, providing for the assessment to pay the imp-
rovement of Wycoff Avenue from First Street to State Road No.
21; Burwell Street from a point midway between Callow Avenue and
Wycoff Avenue to Cambrian Avenue; Cambrian Avenue from Burwell
Street to State Road No. 21, has been filed with the City Clerk
of the City of Bremerton.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that Saturday, the 26th day
of November, 1938, at 10 o'clock A.M. of said day at the Comm-
ission Chambers at the City Hall of the City of Bremerton be and
the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for the hearing
upon said assessment roll; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to gime notice of the time and
place of said hearing to all persons who may desire to object to
such assessment roll to make such objections in writing and file
the same with the City Clerk at or prior to the date fixed for
such hearing, by written notice to the owner or the reputed owner
of the different properties whose name appears upon said assess-
ment roll, by mailing a notice thereof at least fifteen (15) days
before the date herein set for such hearing to such owner or
reputed owner at the address of such owner as shown on the tax
rolls of the County Treasurer for the property described on said
list and shall further give notice of such hearing by publishing
such notice at least five (5) times in the official daily news-
paper, the last publication of which shall be at least fifteen
(15) days prior to the date herein fixed for said hearing. The
above mentioned improvements include clearing, grubbing, grading
and surfacing from a point 300' North margin of First Street to
State Road No. 21 on Wycoff Avenue; construction of concrete walks
on the East side of Ifflycoff Avenue from First Street to Sixth
Street; construction of concrete walks on the West side of Wycoff
Avenue from a point 300' North of First Street to Sixth Street;
construction of a sewer by extending the present storm and sani-
tary sewer and appurtenances on Wycoff Avenue from a point 300'
North of First Street to Sixth Street, providing for drainage
thereof; Cambrian Avenue from Burwell Street to State Road No.
21 be improved by clearing, grubbing, grading, surfacing, and
providing for the drainage thereof; Burwell Street from a point
midway between Callow Avenue and Wycoff Avenue to Cambrian Avenue
be improved by clearing, grubbing, grading, surfacing and provid-
ing for drainage thereof, together with the doing of any and all
other work in connection therewith.
Passed by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this
25th day of October, 1938.
