WHEREAS, the assessment roll for Local Improvement District
No. 184, providing for the assessment to pay the improvement
of Ninth Street from Olympic Avenue to Montgomery Avenue;
Tenth Street from Olympic Avenue to Rainier Avenue; Eleventh
Street from Naval Avenue to Rainier Avenue; Rainier Avenue
from Ninth Street to Eleventh Street and Eleventh Street from
Naval Avenue to Olympic Avenue, has been filed with the City
Clerk of the City of Bremerton,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that Saturday the 24
of 1938, at 10 o'clock A.M. of said day at the
Commission Chambers at the City Hall of the City of Bremerton
be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for the
hearing upon said assessment roll; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is -
hereby authorized and directed to give notice of the time qnd
place of said hearing to all persons who may desire to object
to such assessment roll to make such objections in writing
and file the same with the City Clerk at or prior to the date
fixed for such hearing, by written notice to the owner or the
reputed owner of the different properties whose name appears
upon said assessment roll, by mailing a notice thereof at
least fifteen (15) days before the date herein set for such
hearing to such owner or reputed owner at the address of such
owner as shown on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer for
the property described on said list and shall further give
notice of such hearing by publishing such notice at least five
(5) times in the official daily newspaper, the last publica-
tion of which shall be at least fifteen (15) days prior to the
date herein fixed for said hearing. The said above mentioned
improvements include the construction of storm and sanitary
sewers and appurtenances on Ninth Street from Olympic Avenue
to Montgomery Avenue, Tenth Street from Olympic Avenue to
Rainier Avenue, Eleventh Street from Naval Avenue to Rainier
Avenue and Rainier Avenue from Ninth Street to Eleventh Street;
and by clearing, grubbing, grading, construction of concrete
sidewalks five feet wide and by concrete paving thirty feet
wide, and providing for the drainage thereof on Eleventh
Street from Naval Avenue to Olympic Avenue, together with the
doing of any and all other work in connection therewith to
make such improvement a complete job.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor and
attested ley the City Clerk in authentication of such passage
this /9 day of 1938.
