WBEREA$, The City of Bremerton is making many improvements with the assistance of the
Works Progress Administration; and
WMCHEAS, there is approved by the W. P. A., projects for which the Federal Government
is furnishing considerable Labor and Materials; and
WEEREA$, to receive the maximum benefit from these projects it is necessary for the
City of Bremerton to contribute to these projectsl am therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton that the City Clerk
and City Treasurer be, and they are hereby authorised and instructed to establish
a separate farad to be known as the CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT, wherein there may be deposits&
any sum or sums of money by owners of land to be Issessed for the cost of the improve-
moat, by the Local Improvement District Plan or by Cash payment Plan, and receive credit
for the amount of said deposit on the estimated assessment for sold Improvement, The
money so deposited shall not bear interest but shall be applied as a credit to the
depositor at such time as the work is completed. Boude or Warrants may also be deposited
in said - account and credited to the specific improvement for which they are intended,
BE IT FURTMIR RESOLVED, that the ftuds so deposited in the CONSMUCTION ACCOUNT shall be
used for the pa rabase of materials, payment of labor or any sad all other costs as may
be necessary to make the project ender construction a complete job in accordance with
plans and specifications.
NQW, THOU, the City Commission of the City of Bremerton resolves to establish a
separate Farad to be known as the CONUCTION ACCOUNT for the purposes hereinbefore
mOntioned„ The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to accept deposits and issue credits
