WHEREAS, the Coun of Eitsep, Strai,e of ,aashington, has
foreclosed for gereral taxes on
Lots wonty -seven (27) and Wenty -el ght (26), Block
Seven (7), Firs ikddition to Charleston, Kit
Count,►, Vashington;
and the said property was struck to the said Kitsap County at
the tax foreclosure sale; and that at the time of such foreclr.sure
sale there were delinquent assessments nCainst said property
payable to diff local improvement districts in the City of
Charleston, prior to its consolidation with the Ci ty of Bremerton,
and the City of Bremerton did pay to Yi tsep County the taxes
thereon as by late provided and nor, has a Trenszarer °s ",eed to said
property; that the City of Bremerton has .heretofore entered into
a conctract with one Russell F. Farrell, a bachelor, for the sale
and purcT of said property, anO the safe] pijrch2aser nas con-
veyed his interest in said Droperty to V. P. 4dams, a married man,
ana the City of Fremerton is desirous of selling said property
to pray the taxes aiid delinquent assessments apaanst sane; nom,
therefore,

that the assignnnent and conveyance of thie interest of the said
Russell E. Farrell to V. P. Adams be ar d the same 1-- hereby
approved and cur,ff rmed.
BE IT FURTF3.7i RESOLVED that the 1 _,ivor Baia: City Clerk be and
they are horeby authorized and directed to onter into a new
contract with the said V. P. Adams, a married man, for the sale
and purchase of said property in the name of the City of Bremerton,
such contract to provide for tine payment of the balance of said
purchase price, to -gait: Eight Hundred (0500.00) Dollars, at
Wenty (020.00) Dollars or more per month, with interest at the
rate of sever (7%) per cent per annum, payable at the time se td
installments are paid, and to provide that time be the essence
of the contract, with forfeiture of moneys paid in the event that
purchase price is not paid within the time rrovided therein,
and also to e.xecute a deed in the name of this City of Bremerton
in favor of 1'.Iie siid V. P. Adams, a married men, such deed to
be retained by the City Clerk until the full purchase price is
paid, tor.,other , JT]tercst thereon, ara +J'I tl-,e or
the purcbe- price due at the time of entering into si3ch contract
be waived.
PASSED by zhe City Commission, signed by the Layor and
attested by the City Clerk in authenticat.1on of such passage
this 25th day of OT-nnuary, 1936.
