VMEREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of Washington, fore-
closed for general taxes on
Lots Twenty -seven (27) and Twenty -eight (28), Block
Sixteen (16), Charleston, Kitsap County, :1ashing;ton;
and the said property was struck to the said Kitsap County at the
tax foreclosure sale, and that at the time of such foreclosure
sale there were delinquent assessments against said property
payable to different local improvement districts in the City of
Charleston,, prior to its consolidation with the City of Bremerton,
and the City of Bremerton did pay to Kitsap County the taxes
thereon as by law provided, and now has a Treasurer's Deed to
said property; and the said City of Bremerton is desirous of
selling said property to pay the taxes and delinquent assessments
assessed against said property; and,
I&ITEREAS, the City Commission has an offer of purchase of said
property made by R. S. Hayward Company, a corporation, for a con-
sideration of Three Hundred Five (," Dollars in cash, the
said purchaser to pay all assessments coming due after the date
hereof, and that it is the concensus of opinion of the City
Commission that said property should be sold to the said
R. S. Hayward Company for such consideration, the same being the
amount of county and state taxes against said property, together
Fvith assessments thereof, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton
that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to sell said above described property to the said
R. S. Hayward Company, a corporation, for the total consideration
of Three Hundred Five and ITO /100 ($305.00) Dollars, and for that
purpose to execute and deliver a quit claim deed to said pro - perty
to the said R. S. Hayward Company, a corporation, in the name of
the City of Bremerton upon the payment of such purchase price.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the L_aTor and attested
by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 21st day
of December, 1936.
