SUBJECT: BKAT Service Contract with Study Session Date September 14, 2011

SUMMARY: The current service contract between Kitsap County and BKAT expires on December
31, 2011. The attached is a new proposed three year (2012 -2014) contract. Services provided by
BKAT are similar to what is currently being provided which include. County Commissioner
meetings, Hearing Examiner meetings, KRCC, Budget Hearings, Commissioner's Corner and up to
six Department specific programs per year
ATTACHMENTS: Service Contract and Appendix A
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) $45,000 (billed quarterly) beginning in 2012
Each year the amount increases by 2% per year.
