SUMMARY: The Janitorial Services Contract of Public Works & Utilities has expired The City is
seeking to accept the Washington State Contract for Janitorial Services to obtain the best available
pricing for services The Washington State Contract is with A -1 Performance, Inc , Aberdeen, WA
The department requests approval of the Janitorial Service Contract #00508 for one (1) year from
September 1, 2011 to August 31, 2012 with the option to extend for additional one (1) year terms, per
the contract
The following are the Location contracts for each site
#4940 —100 Oyster Bay (PW & Utilities Operations and Administration)
#4941 —1025 Burwell Ave (police)
#4942 — 3029 Olympus Dr (Police Special Ops)
#4943 — 3027 Olympus Dr (Engineering Water Resources)
#4944 — 550 Park Ave (Courts)
#4945 — 7266 Thibardis Road (BKAT)
#4958 — 911 Park Ave (Fire Station 1 Administration)

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) Funds are budgeted for the current budget year and
would be budgeted for the remaining term of the contract Amount not to exceed $5,500 00 per
month

Move to approve the award of jandonal contracts for City facilities with A -1 through the Washington
State contract and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreements with substantially the
same terms and conditions as presented
