RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, THE assessment roll for Local Improvement
District No. 155, providing for the assessment to pay
the improvement of the alley between Fifth Street and
Sixth Street, extending from High Avenue to Hewitt
Avenue, has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
of Bremerton.
Now, therefor, be it resolved that Saturday the
day of July 1937, at 10 o'clock A.M. of said day at
the Commission Chambers at the City Hall of the City of
Bremerton be and the same is hereby fixed as the time
and place for the hearing upon said assessment roll;
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to give notice of the
time and place of said hearing to all persons who may
desire to object to such assessment roll to make such
objections in writing and file the same with the City
Clerk at or prior to the date fixed for such hearing,
by written notice to the owner or the reputed owner of
the different properties whose name appears upon said
assessment roll, by mailing a notice thereof at least
fifteen (15) days before the date herein set for such
hearing to such owner or reputed owner at the address
of such owner as shown on the tax rolls of the County
Treasurer for the property described on said list and
shall further give notice of such hearing by publishing
such notice at least five (5) times in the official daily
newspaper, the last publication of which shall be at least
fifteen (15) days prior to the date herein fixed for said
hearing. The said above mentioned improvements include
clearing, grubbing, grading and paving with a one - course
concrete pavement, six inches thick and fourteen feet
wide, and the providing for the drainage of the alley,
together with the doing of any and all other work in
connection therewith as may be neceusary to make such
improvement a complete job, all in accordance with plans
and specifications on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage this Awday of - — 1937.
