WHEREAS, at theme Meeting August 14, 1937, after
the passing of the forming a Civil service Commis-
sion, Mayor Jesse A. Knabb announced that he desired to have
the same Commissioners serve as Civil Service Commissioners
im the police Department as are now serving in the Firemen's
Department and by unanimous vote of the Commission the City
Attorney was instructed to prepare the Resolution covering
this matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Commission of the City of Bremer-
ton, by this resolution hereby confirms the appointment of the
Civil Service Commissioners who are now acting as such Comte
mission in the Fire Department in the City of Bremerton that
they be and are hereby confirmed as the Civil Service Com-
mission Board for the City of Bremerton with the full power
to act as provided in said e and the laws of the
State of Washington pertaining thereto.
Passed by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authen-
tication of such passage this E _ / day of August, 1937.
