HomeMy WebLinkAbout08/28/1937 (2) A .6_ RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton has heretofore passed an Or- dinance providing for the licensing_ QFl,t, *i oabs and side -oars and providing for certain r,egulationa athereof; AND, WHEREAS, in said, there was no designation made as to zones and charges to be made by the said vehicles; AND, WHEREAS, under Hera• Rev. ,P Ztat. of Washington, Section 9034 and subdivision 7 thereof undtt- the designation of ~"'Powers of Council enumerated" we .find the following: "7. License Vehicles: To license for the purposss'o'f'jrgveau'e`,and regulati6n and to tau hackney coaches, cabs, omhibi�+�8w,5diays, market wagons, and all other Vehicles used for hire, and'tto regulate their stands, and to fix the rates to be charged for - I ie transportation of persons, bad gage and property.'. r,k. WHEREFORE, pursuant to the power, ranted in said section the City Commission of the City of Bremort n`hereby and by this reso- lution designates the following zones and the charges to be made for each taxi cab and side- oars as follows: (1) Puget Sound Navy Yard, Pier,4, *254 /for one and .104 _1 each additional (2) West of Pier 4, balance pf` Yard , 354 for one and . 500 POC for two and 104 for each additional* ( (3) park Avenue and 5th cSt, North a, �; 4254 for one and .104 �e each additional.
