WHEREAS, under Section 3 of Chapter 13 of the Session Laws
of 1937 of the State of Washington, the same Chapter being en-
titled "Civil Service in Police Departments ", there were appointed
as Commissioners, as providing in said Chapter, the three (3)
Commissioners who are now appointed and serving as the Civil
Service Commissioners in the Police Department, but said resolution
did not designate the terms of office for the respective comm-
issioners, and,
WHEREAS, it is provided in said Section and Chapter that
the City Commission being the appointive power and shall designate
the term for which these Commissioners shall serve,
NOW, THEREFORE, the following named parties shall servi for
the following designated terms set opposite their name:
Name of Commissioners Years appointment to run
Dr. J. E. Haddon Six (6) Years
Harry E. Vheeler Four (4) Years
Ernest C. Ebert Two (2) Years
That the above named parties are hereby confirmed as Civil
Service Commissioners for the terms hereinabove set out as pro-
vided by said Chapter.
PASSED by the City Commission this 8th day of September,
1937, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk.
