WHEREAS,on September 18,1937 there was submitted to and
election held by portions of Kitsap county,Washington,on
the question as to whether said portione,hereinafter des -
cribed,should be annexed to the city of Bremerton. That
as a result of said election,as ascertained by the board of �--
countg commissioners,as per their certified copy of the min-
utes of their meeting,which was held for the purpose of
canvassing the vote above mentioned,it was ascertained that
a majority of the persons voting in each portion of said
Kitsap oounty,hereinafter describbd,voted to become a part
of the city of Bremerton,Washington,and the city commission of
the city of Bremerton considers it for the beat interests of
the city of Bremerton that said districts be annexed and
become a part of the said city of Bremerton,now,therefore,
the city attorney of the city of Bremerton is hereby au-
thorized and directed to prepare and present to the said
city commission an ordinance,having for its purpose the taking
into the city of Bremerton,as part of its corporate territory
the property voted to be taken in,which is described as fol-
l ows:
(1) Beginning at the &nterseotion of the center line of
Naval Avenue and Eleventh Street;thenc a north along the canter
line of Naval Avenue produced 2830 feet,more or less,to the
Government meander line;thence continuing north along the "^
center line of Naval Avenue produced to its intersection with
the center line of Port Washington Narrows;thence southeasterl y
along the center line of Port Washington narrows to its in-
tersection with the center line of Chester Avenue produced;
thence south to the Government meander 1 ine; thenc a continuing
south along the center line of Chester avenue 1,790 feet,more '
or less,to a point 120 feet north of the north margin of elev-
enth street,thr;Qce west along a line 120 feet north of and par-
allel to the north margin of eleventh street,1,315 feet,more
or less to the center line of High avenue; thenoe south along
the center line of High avenue 150 feet to the center line
of eleventh street; thence west along the center line of eleventh
street,1,309 feet,more or less,to the point of begianing,also,

Beginning at the intersection of the city limits of the
city of Bremerton,Washington,at ninth street and Callow ave-
` nue,thence north along the center line of Callow avenue,pro�-
dueed,1,9 #6.6 feet more or less,to the intersection of Fif-
t eenth st eet and hallow avenile;thence east along the center line
of fifteenth street,1,053.35 feet,more or less,to a point whit h
is the intersection of Fifteenth street and the line of the
city limits,extended;thence south along the city limits,1,9
f eet,more or less;thence west along the city limits,1,053.3
f eet,more or less,to the point of beginning.
