R E S O L U T I O N
THAT,WHEREAS,the city of Bremerton is desirous of purchasing
certain property belonging to C. E. MoCofmtok,described as fol-
lows: N�l
NE- of the NE* section 2,Twp._33 N.R.1 W. W. M• • � of the
NW- of Sea. l ,Twp. 23 N. R.1. W. W. W. ; and the EJ of the �TE� of seo,
g,Twp,23 N.R.1 E.W.M.,which the said owner holds for the price
of $17.50 per acre;
That this land lies in the water shed of the Bremerton water
supply,and is necessary for the purpose of guarding the purity
of the water for such supply;
That,whereas,the said City of Bremerton is the gwner of
the following described tract of land: SE� of the SE `of Sec.1
Twp,23 N.R.1 W.W.M.,is holding this tract of land for $17.50
per acre,and considers this tract of land,which lies adjacent
to - the water shed,but not essential for the city in preventing
the pollution of the water tberein,and the said McCormick is wil-
ling to purchase this latter tract of land in connection with this
deal,leaving 120 acres of land to be paid for by the city of
Bremerton at the price of $17.50 per acre;
NOIT,THEREFORE,the city of Bremerton hereby authorizes the
Mayor of the city of Bremerton to execute a deed to the said la nd
Above described as belonging to the said oity,in exchange and to
b`e , ,applied for the same number of acres from said McCormiok,and
that the remainder of 120 acres above described be paid for by the
oi of Bremerton,at the rate of x$17.50 per acre,or a total sum
of ,2,100.00 in eolsideration that the said McCormick deed to
the city of Bremerton the said 160 acres above mentioned.
