RESOLUTION
1, M REAS, the City of Bremerton is improving Wycoff
Avenue from Burwell Street to Sixth Street by grading and
surfacing, and
,MREAS, the street was platted for a width of 40 Peet,
and,
VMEREAS, an offer has been made by the owner of lots
37, 36, 39, and 40, Block 6, First Addition to Charleston,
to give deed to the 'Nest 10 feet of said lots for the widen-
ing of said Wycoff Avenue in consideration for $600.00, to
pay for the removing of the Nest 14.4 feet of the building
occupying lots 39 and 40,
AND, WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton, desirous to increase
the width of Wycoff Avenue the additional 10 feet to provide
for future traffic, considers this offer to be fair and just.
NOW, TFEREFORE, the City Commission of the City of
Bremerton, hereby makes application requesting the State
'Tighway Department for funds to the amount of $600.00 dollars,
to be granted from the State Gas Tax fund allocated to the
City of Bremerton for the acquisition of this property for
Street purposes as herein set out.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authen-
tication of such passage this 13th day of November, 1937.
