HomeMy WebLinkAbout06/27/1936 RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSIOX OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, as follows: Section 1. That there be, and hereby is established in the Finance Department of the City of Bremerton a special fund, to be known and designated an, "Special Athletic Field Fund*, and the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby directed to establish such a fund, designated as herein provided, and to provide for such fund the special accounting books and all moneys received from the athletic field or athletic park, either from gate receipts, rents, leases, use, donations, bequests or otherwise, shall be placed to the credit of such special fund, and warrants shall be drawn upon si4oh. ,,slIeVial fund for the upkeep, maintenance, pur- chase of equipment and accessories necessary, employees, and for such other purposes as may be required, which warrants shall draw not to exceed five (5 %) per cent until paid. Section 2. That the City be, and ne is hereby authorized and directed to purchase the necessary books of account, to have printed and provided the necessary blank warrants and such other necessary blanks and accounts as may be required to keep a strict and accurate account of all moneys received into such fund and payments made therefrom. Section 3. The City Clerk be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to draw such necessary warrants on such fund on the d authority of vouchers approved by a majority of the Commission, properly chargeable to such fund, but no moneys shall be paid from such fund without the necessary and proper vouchers, duly executed and approved by the Commission, or majority of a Board duly established for the purpose of managing such athletic field or park, in the event such Board is hereafter established. Section 4. That such fund and all moneys therein shall be retained at the end of the fiscal year for the purpose of paying indebtedness, equipment and other expenses necessary for the care, maintenance and upkeep of such athletic park. PASSED AYD ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton in regular session assembled, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 27th day of•June, 1936.
