SUMMARY: This is a construction contract to upgrade Sewage Pump Station CE -1, including
demolition of existing pumps and piping, installation of pre - purchased pumps, valves, fittings, piping,
flowmeter, and vault The engineer's estimate for this contract is $500,000
There were six bids Stan Palmer Construction was the lowest responsible, responsive bidder in the
amount of $542,457 00 (including sales tax)

FISCAL IMPACTS This project is included in the 2011 Budget and is fully funded by wastewater
rates

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the bid for Sewage Pump Station CE -1 Upgrade and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement with Stan Palmer Construction in the amount of $542,457 00
(including sales tax) with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented
