SUMMARY: In review of the legal documentation of the Kiwanis Park property for redevelopment of
the park, the City of Bremerton found that a portion of the park was constructed over an undeveloped
alley An existing 14 foot alley was reserved as an easement over the park property The City has
initiated the vacation and dedication to clarify the property usage This date has been scheduled for
a public hearing in accordance with state law and the Bremerton Municipal Code on the proposed
ordinance vacating the subject property In accordance with BMC 11 20 080(d), no compensation is
required
