SUMMARY: City Council is required to formally appoint Committees to write statements "For" and
"Against" General Election Ballot Measures A ballot measure to reduce the size of the City Council
from nine Council Members to seven Council Members and to make other related changes will be
placed on the November 8, 2011 General Election Each Committee may have up to three
members, however, a Committee may seek the advice of any person in preparing their statement(s)
