CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES JUL ® 4 2011
June 29, 2011
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the City
Council Conference Room 603 of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER 345 6 Street,
Bremerton, Washington, Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at 5 00 PM, with Council President Will
Maupin presiding Council Members present were Nick Wofford, Carol Arends, Dianne Robinson,
Greg Wheeler, Roy Runyon, Adam Brockus, Cecil McConnell, and Jim McDonald Legislative
Assistant Lori Smith was present to provide staff support
President Maupin emphasized that the Special Meeting was open to the public, however there
would be no opportunities for input or participation and that no action will be taken
A STREET FUNDING OPTIONS
Discussion was continued from the March 30, 2011 Study Session Because no other
funding sources have been identified, it was agreed to schedule a Special Meeting of the
Transportation Benefit District (TBD) Board immediately following the regular Council
Meeting on July 6, 2011 to consider authorizing a $20 annual vehicle fee
B GENERAL COUNCIL BUSINESS
a Council Committee Chair reports were provided, and
b General Council Business was discussed
President Maupin adjourned the Special Meeting at 5 45 PM
Following a 15- minute recess, Council then reconvened for a 1 -hour Exempt Closed Session to
discuss "Labor Negotiations and Proceedings" per RCW 42 30 140(4)(b)
