Project: Kiwanis Park, Our File No. 211174.10
Subject: Revised Contract Amendment Proposal for Supplemental Civil Engineering Services Structural Engineers
Dear Colette. Landscape Architects
We are requesting an amendment to our contract based on the City's request for a Parking
Study to justify the conversion of parallel parking stalls along 4 th Street to diagonal stalls. Community Planners
It is our understanding that the City code requires a traffic study performed by a professional Natural Resource Ecologists
engineer to evaluate the impact of converting parallel parking to diagonal parking. Our study
will include a site visit to document the current parking supply and its utilization during a
typical peak weekday. The study will also provide recommendations for preferred parking Land Surveyors
layout and the lane shift needed to accommodate the shift from parallel to diagonal parking
along 4 th Street within the study area. Neighbors
The estimated total for Amendment 2 is $1,417. An hourly break down of the proposed hours
and fees can be found on the attached Exhibit B.
If you find this proposal acceptable, please prepare your standard amendment documents.
Our receipt of your written authorization will be our notification to proceed. If you have any
questions, please call me at (253) 383 -2422.
