SUMMARY: A Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was advertised on March 4th, 2011 for the
consultant selection for the Kiwanis Park & Green Streets Project Of the five submittals received,
AHBL was ranked as the most qualified to perform the civil and structural engineering services
necessary for this project The proposed contract includes Low Impact Development design services
for Kiwanis Park improvements and Street improvements on 4 and 5th in the vicinity of Kiwanis Park

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) Engineering services for the street work is funded
by a $500k Department of Ecology LID Retrofit Grant and engineering for the park is funded by a
$400k Land and Water Conservation Fund grant

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve the Professio Services Agreement between the
City of Bremerton and AHBL in an amount not to exceed $7 ,462 and authorize the Mayor to finalize
and execute the agreement with same terms and conditions as presented
