SUMMARY:
The Water Resources Division in the Department of Public Works and Utilities has a need for
technical assistance in several areas of drinking water quality regulations - Disinfection /Disinfection
By- product Rule and the Groundwater Rule - and in the preparation of the Water System Plan which
is required by the Department of Health to be updated every six years The schedule for this
agreement is for the next two years and the contract total is not to exceed $40,000 Confluence
Engineering personnel has assisted Bremerton in similar technical capacity in past projects and is
highly capable in this area

This project was budgeted in the 2011 Water Utility Operation and Maintenance budget for the Water
Resources Division
