SUMMARY: Olympic College has petitioned the City of Bremerton to vacate the alley between 13
and 15 Streets, West of Warren Avenue The College is completing campus improvements
including replacement of parking lots to new building construction The new parking lot will
encompass the entire block between 13 and 15 Streets, and Broadway and Warren Avenues
rendering the alley useless for access Deferred compensation and fees for this vacation is
requested until the right of way dedication along 13 Street and Warren Avenue is completed

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) The compensation for this vacation is estimated at
$92,498 As Olympic college develops new rights of way to be dedicated to the City, the value of
these rights of way will be applied against the $92,498 Olympic College has three years from the
date of execution of this vacation to develop these rights of ways After the three years, any
remaining balance will be paid to the City If the value of the rights of way are greater than the
compensation for the vacation, the City is not obligated to make any payment to Olympic College
