SUMMARY: The Deputy City Clerk's position has remained unfilled due to budget constraints If the
City Clerk is absent due to vacation or an unforeseen reason, it is necessary to appoint a Deputy City
Clerk to temporarily fulfill the duties of the City Clerk, allowing for signature authority and to carry out
the statutory obligations of the position
