SUMMARY: Alan G Cady and Carla M Cady own 62 acre of property located at 2320 19` Street
that City staff proposes to purchase to provide storm water infiltration for the 65 acre Anderson Cove
basin and provide waterfront recreation access for the adjoining neighborhood The purchase price of
$330,000 is identical to the appraised value Parametrix consultants completed an environmental
review of the property on April 20` 2011 This acquisition is 100% funded by Department of
Ecology Storm Water Retrofit and Low Impact Development Grant G1100226 approved by City
Council in 2010

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
I Move to approve the purchase and sale agreement for the purchase of the Anderson Cove property
owned by Alan G Cady and Carla M Cady in the amount of $330,000 and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented
