SUMMARY: Current Financial Policy 1 -10 -04 adopted on June 29, 1994 and revised on May 31,
2000 is being updated to allow the Mayor to delegate her review authority for grant funds and their
potential match This delegation will allow administration to be more timely and effective in
determining the appropriateness of pursuing grant funds The policy is also being updated to remove
reference to the Council Operations Committee, which no longer exists, and correct the name of the
Council Fiscal and Budget Committee to Council Finance Committee
