SUMMARY: The proposed improvements on Pacific Avenue between 6 Street and 11 th Street are
part of an urban redevelopment of Pacific Avenue that includes sustainabilrty and the latest in
environmental practices with landscaping and scenic enhancement As it is deemed vital for scenic
enhancement, the underground conversion of the overhead lines will provide tangible benefits to this
goal The underground conversion will be performed according to Puget Sound Energy (PSE) Tariff
