A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington declaring certain public utility property
known as Reservoir No 14 surplus to the City's needs in
accordance with the provisions of BMC 2 78 010(b)
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the public utility property
known as Reservoir No 14 is surplus to the City's needs and is not required for providing
continued public utility service, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to BMC 2 78 040 and RCW 35 94 040, a public hearing
was held on April 6, 2011 relating to the proposed surplusmg of the property, NOW
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1. The public utility property known as Reservoir No 14 and legally
described in Exhibit "A" is hereby declared surplus to the City's needs and is not required for
providing continued public utility service
SECTION 2. The City shall take no action to sell or otherwise dispose of the
property before April 30, 2012 in order to allow time to consider options for the property
SECTION 3. Severabahty If any one or more sections, subsections, or
sentences of this Resolution are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Resolution and the same shall remain in full
force and effect
SECTION 4. Effective Date This Resolution shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage

That portion of the northeast V4 of the northeast V4 of Section 13, Township 24 North,
Range 1 East, W.M., Kitsap County, Washington, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning on the west side of Ironsides Avenue at the intersection with the south line of
east 17 Street; thence west 200 feet; thence south 135.17 feet; thence east 200 feet to the
west side of said Ironsides Avenue; thence north to the beginning;
