SUMMARY: The State of Washington has requested that Bremerton release its interest in a
recreational and athletic easement on the southeast portion of the Frances Haddon Morgan Center
property in the vicinity of Forest Ridge Park T11eeasement was granted by the State of Washington to
both the Bremerton School District and the City;in' ,1980 and to date has not been used by either party
The Bremerton School District released its mterestin this easement in December of 2009
On December 14 the Bremerton Parks Commission voted (6 in favor, 1 opposed) to recommend
vacation the easement
