CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES
February 9, 2011
A Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the City Council
Conference Room 603, of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6 th Street, Bremerton,
Washington, Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at 5 00 PM, with Council President Will Maupin
presiding Council Members present were Nick Wofford, Carol Arends, Dianne Robinson, Greg
Wheeler, Roy Runyon, Adam Brockus, Cecil McConnell, and Jim McDonald Legislative Assistant
Lori Smith was present to provide staff support
President Maupin emphasized that the Study Session was open to the public, however there
would be no opportunities for input or participation, that no action will be taken, and the content of
these items is subject to change
A NO DISCUSSION PLANNED -The following items are budgeted items or have been reviewed
by the appropnate Council Committee, and unless otherwise noted, will be scheduled on the
February 16, 2011 Council Meeting Agenda for action
1 Grant Funding Agreement with the State of Washington Department of Ecology for Kiwanis
Park Retrofit and Green Streets Project — Wyn Birkenthal, Parks & Recreation Director,
and Jim McDonald, Public Safety and Parks Committee Chair Consent Agenda
2 Sidewalk Improvements near Armin Jahr Elementary School at McClain Avenue & 31
Street — Larry Matel, Public Works & Utilities, and Dianne Robinson, Public Works
Committee Chair Consent Agenda
3 Approve Building Lease Agreement with Kitsap Regional Library for City Facility at 612 5th
Street for 2 year term — Wayne Hamilton, Public Works & Utilities, and Dianne Robinson,
Public Works Committee Chair Consent Agenda
