SUMMARY: The City executed an Agreed Order with the Department of Ecology to address
remediation at the Former Chevron Property The Agreed Order made the property eligible for a
Remedial Action Grant which has reimbursed costs at 90% Ecology has indicated additional
remediation is required at the site, and has offered an amendment to the grant to continue their
reimbursement for the work The requested action before the City Council is approval of Amendment
No 2 to Ecology Grant No G0900223 in the amount of $259,333
