SUMMARY: In completing construction of the Gorst Sewerage Protect, the consultant completed
work beyond their scope of work The additional work was generally related to design modifications
made necessary to resolve utility conflicts due to differing site conditions The requested action
before Council is approval of an amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Parametrix
for the additional work in the amount of $39,806

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) The Gorst Sewerage Project is included in the
2010 Wastewater Budget, this cost will be paid from the 2010 budget

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Amendment No 4 to the Professional Services Agreement with Parametrix, in the
amount of $39,806 (including sales tax) and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the
agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented
