PLANNING. ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF WORK City of Bremerton. Former Chevron Property Remediation Amendment No. 3 INTRODUCTION This Scope of Work (SOW) describes Parametrix's proposal for additional services,to be performed under our existing contract for Long -Term Monitoring (LTM) at the Former Chevron Property. The work will be performed under Amendment No. 3 to our Professional Services Agreement dated January 27, 2011. Additional services consist of 5 additional years of groundwater monitoring and an update to the project's LTM plan. The new completion date for the project is October 31, 2022 (see Exhibit B — Schedule). The original project budget included a total of 12 groundwater sampling events to be completed within 5 years. This schedule assured that groundwater concentrations at the, site would attenuate and reach cleanup levels within that time frame. Since cleanup levels have not been met, the monitoring schedule is to be extended an additional 5 years. A total of nine sampling events have been conducted to date, leaving a surplus of three events under the existing budget. It is projected that a total of eight rounds of groundwater samples will be collected under Amendment No. 3. The budget request for this amendment reflects an additional five sampling events and an update to the site's LTM plan (if requested by Ecology_).
