ti'JT�REAS, the building lccated on Lots Four and Five,
(4,5), Block Two (�), Terril�� Aodition to �harleston, Bremerton
';)ashin�ton, is �.n a dil�piaa�ed condition, being unoecupied,
windo�s all ��oken, doors unhung, Qh� ri�3r about to fa11, and the
foundation fallen away so that the bullding is un:�upported, and
is in danger of fallin� into the basement, is a rend@svous
for boys, and a fire hazard, and is dan gerous to life and property,
therefore
.� BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Commission of the City
of Bremerton in regular session assembled, that trxe said buildin�
located on Lots Four and Five (4,5), Block Two (!!), Terrill�s
Addition to Charleston, Bremerton, �`�ashington, is unsanitary,
d�n�erous to life and property, ana is a Pire menace, and that
the Buildin� Inspect�r be and he is hereb�, authorized and
directed to serve upon the o�7ner of said bul.ldin�, to-cait:
upon J. E. Ctiest, whose last kno��n address is 1107 �aheeler Street,

Hoq�hiam, ti��ashington, elther in person or by mail, a notice,
if served by ma11 to be inclosed in envelope witn po^tage pre-
naid, addressed to said o«ner, notifyin�? h�m to remove said
� buildin�, or cause it to be torn down wltrin ten days from and
after :r�ai�ing said notice, speciPying therein the c3ondition
and danger of said buildin�, and wherein it is a menace, and

s�id inspector is further directed to post a copy of said notice
in a conspicuous place upon said buildzng, and shall alsa file
with the City Clerk, a copy of s�ld notice. Be it further
RESOLVED, '�hat tn the event the ov�ner or ��s agent
ne�lects or refuses to renove said bu?lding as in such notice

keep an accurate account oY the costs of labor ard material
in r�aoving said building, and when sald �ob is completed shall
make and file �rith the City Treasurer, an it�mized st�tement
of sucr cost, and the City Treasurer shall immediately, upon
the receipt of such statement, levy an assessment a�ainst the
property upon w��ich said building is located, in the amount of
the cost as contained in such st?tement, and such assessment
shall draw 6� interest from the date of filzn� such statement.
