being an ord�nance fix�.ng t�.e Finanei�l �udget for sa�. d city
for the year, 19�, the re was urovzd ed t11e sum oP �8, 865.12 for
the purpose oP defr�ying the init�.al and preli�r�inary ezpense for
the appraising and condemnation of thE plant and distri��uting
system of the Puget Sound Power 8c Li�ht CoIIpany within the limits
of tl�e City of Bre�nerton u�ider a Pormer authorization of the
people of sa�d city, duly �iven at a specz�l e].ect�on for said
�urpose, and by Ordlnance No. 9S� of the City of Bremerton
t�ere was duly and regul�rly levi ed uY on the real and pe rsonal
property �vitha.n the linits of the City of 13remerton a tax of
tv�o mills upon sald property ar.d �11 the taxable property ��.thin
the city lir�lts, amoun�zng to the s-�id sun of y�8,695.12 as an advance
and to be �r�id into a speelal fund theretofore cre xted under
Ordir�nce I�o. 893, knowr_ as the �remerton Li�ht Fund, �or the
purpose of paT ln� the �rel��rainary expense of aequirin� or
eondemning the existzng el.ectric distribution systen of the said
puget Sound Po�er � Li�,ht Com��ny, or th e cons�ruction of a
para].lel sys�em under provi s� �n of sal d Ordinance R1o. 893, the
ssi,d sum to be te�nded to current e�:pense f�°om such epeoial
�ttnd when the ob�ects of said Urdinance have been obt�ined, and
�'T�R�1�, of the total amount of '�ages levie� for the year
1932, there was, on the 31st day o�' December, 1932, the suin of
��23,351.35 delinquent for s�id year, ow�.n� to the City of Bremerton,
zncluded in s�id levlt, �nd the amount of tages realized from the
total le�vy for 1932 was necessary for the several YLtnds in the
Tiity of Bre_nerton to carry on the government anc� for �overnmental
a
purposes, and there c�as not/sufficient amount derived from th.e
levy of taxes for g�3d year to place in said special fund ereated

by said ordinanee, and to dete there has �Een no money derived from
such levy for such purpase placed in s�id special fund, but as
such delinc�uent ta$es so levied for 1932 are paid to the CityT oP
Bres�erton, there will be funds avail�ble �or such purpose, and
it is the desire �nd lntention of the Cit3� Commission o�' the G3ty
of Bre�erton to pay into s�id fund such money as is paid to sa�d
city from the tz�$ leqied for the year 1932, until the said
speelal flind contas?�s a tota�. of the a�id sum of N8,885.12, and
it is the conaensus of opinion of the Cit�,� Cor�lmissl r_ of said city
that the City Treasurer should pay into said speeial f�.ind so
ere�ted the tages realized from the 1.evy of 1932 until sai d��am�
ha s b e e r� pai d in sal d amount.

That the City Treasurer of saia city be :�nd he is hereby
�.uthorized and direeted to pay into the speelal ftlnd heretoPore
created bg Ordin�nce No, 893 any and all funds received from the
County Treasurer of Kitsap County �s taxes for the year 1932
until the total sum of �8,685.12 realized from said tazes has been
paid into said fund, and the s�id flind sh�11 be set aside for said
purpose until the s�r�e has beEn used foi• such I�urpose or the
pro3ect in said funa ab�ndoned as fu�utre develop�en�s may determ�.ne.
Passed by the City Commission in regular session assembled,
signed by the a4ayor and attested by the City Clerk in a.uther.tication
oP sueh passage this 7th day of Januar��, 1933.
